Graphic War images

We all know that the world we live isn't perfect. Somewhere people are being killed in wars or by terrorists. However sometimes we are so sheltered that we don't realize. Even if we do see the occasional graphic war images in the news, the companies construe and manipulate it in such a way that is beneficial to their companies and leaves the audience desensitized and without any actual knowledge of what is going on. But living without any knowledge isn't going to solve the problem, and just because you don't read it over your morning cereal doesn't mean that violence isn't occurring. It is necessary for us to know what is going on in the world for us to create meaningful change.

In order for this to occur, we firstly need reliable new sources. However this happening anytime soon can be very unlikely, considering how easy it is to manipulate what is shown to the public. Every picture can be taken to leave out certain things from the frame, every sentence can be read in a certain tone to deliver a completely different message. Because of this the public should be critical of news the receive and be careful of inherent biases. In general, it is necessary for the reality of the world to be shown. With such actions in place, people become wary of what has happened in the past and what is currently going around them. Most people will want to stop conflict from arising and the past form repeating itself.
